Pool Maintenance Packages and Pricing
Weekly Pool Maintenace
$90 a month for average residential pool.
Pool with spa or large pool may be more.
Services include:
- 48 weeks a year
- Netting debris top and bottom
- Brushing steps, walls, and tile
- Vacuuming as needed
- Emptying skimmer and pump basket
- Emptying pool cleaner bag or canister
- Testing and adjusting water for total chlorine, free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, hardness (calcium), and cyanuric acid
- Backwashing DE filter
- Replenishing DE
- Checking pool equipment for proper operation
Chemical-Only Weekly Pool Maintenance
$70 month for average residential pool.
Large pool may be more.
Chemical service includes:
- 48 weeks a year
- Testing and adjusting water for total chlorine, free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, hardness (calcium), and cyanuric acid
- Emptying skimmer and pump basket
- Emptying pool cleaner bag or canister
- Checking pool equipment for proper operation.
Chemicals Used with Weekly Pool Maintenance Packages
The following chemicals are included with Weekly Pool Maintenance packages:
- Liquid chlorine
- 3-inch chlorine tablets
- Muriatic acid (to lower pH and alkalinity)
- Soda ash (to raise pH)
- Baking soda (to raise alkalinity)
- Calhypo chlorine (to shock)
The following specialty chemicals are occasionally needed and are not included in the weekly pool packages:
- Algaecides
- Phosphate removers
- Clarifiers
- Conditioners
- Scale removers
- Stain Removers
Additional Information
Filters Must be Cleaned Twice a Year
For both Weekly Pool Maintenance packages filters must be cleaned twice a year. You may do this task yourself. The cost for me to do it is $85 each time.
